The 2004 Melbourne Fringe Festival presents works that will change the landscape of the city for 19 extraordinary days from 22 September – 10 October.
 
The North Melbourne Town Hall again pumps up the pace, churning out art at a rapid-fire rate. Get out and check out the 240 events inhabiting nooks, crannies and dark alleys in venues right across Melbourne and the inner suburbs.
 
Strange sightings are being reported all over Melbourne:
Federation Square is ambushed by artists. Shed 14 has surfaces that are subject to change at Docklands. The shelter at NGVI forecourt will change daily to reflect ideas of ‘home’. Spontaneous Constructions are happening at Fringe Furniture at the Melbourne Museum. Electronic sounds and sights are oozing out of Fitzroy Town Hall at ElectroVision@Fringe. There’s OUTrageous OUTbursts of OUTdoor performance at Federation Square… and What’s For Sale?
