Melbourne Fringe presents the arrival of Rated G - the 2004 Fringe Family Program.

The first 10 days of the festival coincided with most school holidays, and we extended the invitation to Fringe audiences and their families to participate in a fabulous series of festival shows, workshops, exhibitions and street theatre labelled, Rated G.

Reaching across Melbourne, over 100 independent artists indicated their events age-friendly, Fringe Academy offers classes, workshops and performance for families at the Fitzroy Town Hall, Federation Square and a matinee program at the North Melbourne Town Hall over the weekend of 2 & 3 October.

In addition to entertaining the grown-ups at night, the Festival Club, downstairs at the North Melbourne Town Hall, also threw its doors open to kids for the matinee weekend with some festival fundamentals.

With most shows running an hour earlier on Sundays, every last minute of your week was jammed with one of the 240 festival encounters.
