GET OFF THE COUCH- The Artists
In 2004, the Melbourne Fringe Festival is breaking new ground by partnering with the Victorian Government to produce a compilation of Australia’s edgiest electronica artists responding to the key theme “ Marijuana can do more harm than you think”
On “Get off the Couch” are the loops, degradations, redundancies and artifacts of the next generation of Australian electronica artists.
It was a tough job, but our discerning judges finally selected 10 tracks showcasing the innovation, technical prowess and artistic ability of electronic musicians from across Australia.
