Shopaholics, bargain hunters and style gurus…

What would you find in the treasure troves of the Queen Victoria Market fashion stalls given $100 and sixty minutes on the clock?

In shop til you drop, competitors and audiences are invited to indulge in the creativity of a fashion hunt experience, to be enthralled by the clever designs and multiple outfits and to participate directly in the outcome by voting for their favourite fashions!

Over three Sundays, 30 shop til you drop participants will each receive $100 of ‘Fringe Fashion Money’ and a ‘Fashion Market Map’. Armed with their cash and map, participants will have one hour to find their most creative ‘outfit’. Stylists and costume designers will also be participating to show how the professionals shop!

At the end of their sixty minute shopping spree, participants are invited to parade their finds and the audience will vote a winner for each day.

Overall judging of all three weeks’ participants will take place on Sunday 10 October at 1:30pm at the QVM. There are great prizes to be won including a night’s accommodation at Hotel Y.
