Buzzcuts is daily reviews and happenings at the 2004 Melbourne Fringe Festival presented by young volunteers. Check out what the Buzzcuts team thought. Find out what Fringe means to Melbourne. Keep coming back as more reviews come in daily. Buzzcuts can also be heard on 3RRR (102.7 FM) , seen on Channel 31 ,and read
every Wednesday in Beat magazine and on the Buzzcuts website.
Buzzcuts is proudly brought to you by Express Media, a a not-for-profit organisation working with and for young people at a national level through mentorship programs, a quarterly magazine Voiceworks and arts projects such as Buzzcuts.
Express Media exists to enable young people to create
their own culture. Focusing on writers and artists under
25, Express Media aims to create a space for self-expression
and the exploration of a youth ‘voice’ rather than the parroting of a ‘youth line’. Striving for recognition of the creative skills, ideas, concerns and opinions of young people, Express Media provides access to training, publishing and other creative opportunities in order to nurture the next generation of Australia’s
culture makers.
Express Media would like to thank Melbourne
Fringe, Tracee
Hutchison @ 3RRR,
Bruce Berryman @ RMIT, Beat and Channel
31 for
there assistance in presenting this project. We would also like to thank our
many volunteers, without whom this project would not be possible.
