Authorised Use
- You agree that you are only authorised to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of this Site for your own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this Site for any purpose other than to review event and promotional information, for personal use, or to purchase tickets or merchandise for your personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorised by Melbourne Fringe to do so.
- If you violate the Terms & Conditions or Use of the Site conditions, Melbourne Fringe may terminate your use of the Site, bar you from future use of the Site, cancel your ticket order, and/or take appropriate legal action against you.
Copyright and Trade Marks
- The content and software on this Site is the property of Melbourne Fringe and/or its suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
- You may make copies of any information reasonably required for your viewing of the site and may retain a single permanent copy for your personal reference. The information must not otherwise be used, copied, reproduced, published, stored in a retrieval system, altered, transmitted in any form or by any means in whole or in part (except where by law such use cannot be prohibited) without the written approval of Melbourne Fringe.

FRINGE TICKETS ARE SOLD SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this site (Site). By using the Melbourne Fringe site you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
Terms of Sale – Tickets sold by Melbourne Fringe pursuant to you using the Site are sold by Melbourne Fringe as agent for the person (“Seller”) responsible for the relevant event and are subject to conditions of sale of the Seller. ALL CLAIMS WHATSOEVER ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELLER AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW MELBOURNE FRINGE HAS NO LIABILITY TO YOU.
General
- Melbourne Fringe reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time, effective immediately.
- Melbourne Fringe’s Privacy Policy and Use of Site conditions are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions.
- If any part of these Terms & Conditions are held to be unenforceable, the unenforceable part must be given effect to the greatest extent possible and the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria and you irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victoria.
Ticket sales and availability
- Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, our Call Centre, and box office. All distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory, therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event, however, Melbourne Fringe does not control this inventory or its availability.
- It is important that patrons purchasing tickets for general admission events understand that lost, stolen or destroyed tickets for these events will NOT be replaced under any circumstances. Please ensure that upon receipt of your tickets that they are kept in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight or heat can sometimes damage tickets. Please refer to the methods for collection and/or delivery when choosing your collection/delivery details.
- Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets at the venue.
- Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from an authorised distribution point.
- Melbourne Fringe accepts payment via MasterCard, BankCard and Visa only.
Delivery of tickets
- You must allow adequate time for collection or delivery of tickets. Methods of collection and/or delivery will be available when choosing your collection/delivery details.
- Tickets delivered through Will Call are typically available one hour prior to the event start time. You will need to present your Melbourne Fringe confirmation number, the credit card used to purchase tickets and a photo identification.
Refunds, Exchange and Resale of Tickets
- No refunds or exchanges will be given on any ticket except where and to the extent that laws of the region of purchase provide otherwise. If a refund is made, Melbourne Fringe may retain any service fee or like fee it has charged.
- Before purchasing your tickets you should carefully review your event and date selection.
- You may not resell your ticket or link this site to other sites for the purpose of selling tickets of any kind. We will investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, barring such violators from use of the Site. We reserve the right to block access to or cancel a ticket order on any user known or reasonably believed to be associated with any ticket broker or scalper, or utilising automated means to process or place ticket orders, or whose ticket order exceeds the stated limit.
- If the Seller permits refunds, any service fees charged at the time of purchase are non refundable. Refunds for tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to that credit card only and tickets purchased by cash or cheque will be refunded in cash.
Conditions of the Seller or venue
- Tickets sold are sold subject to the conditions applicable to that event by the Seller or the venue where the event is held. Some venues have no alcohol or non-smoking conditions. Refer to conditions of entry at the venue. Any representations made by the Seller or the venue with reference to the event or performance and any associated complaints or claims arising thereon are the responsibility of the Seller or the venue and not Melbourne Fringe.
- The right is reserved by the Seller to add, withdraw or substitute artists or vary advertised events, ticket prices, audience capacity or seating arrangements as necessary.
- If an event is cancelled no obligation is assumed by Melbourne Fringe for arranging a substitute event.
- The venue’s management reserves the right to refuse admission. Late arrival may result in non-admittance until there is a convenient break in the program.
- Mobile phones and pagers must be switched off during all performances.
- Ticket holders must comply with the security arrangements at the venue including bag and personal searches.
- No drugs, weapons, food, beverages, glass containers or lasers may be taken in to the venue. Melbourne Fringe accepts no responsibility for confiscated items.
- Melbourne Fringe takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
- No audio or video recorders or cameras may be taken into the venue or used without permission of the Seller and venue management by prior arrangement. A breach of this condition may lead to the confiscation of all equipment and removal of the patron from the venue. The right is reserved to broadcast or televise any event.
