Melbourne Fringe attracts a large, receptive audience of over 250,000 socially invested, media savvy individuals. Our participants and audiences are the instigators and the communicators of this generation who are actively engaged in a dialogue about community and lifestyle. Melbourne Fringe appeals to a broad range of age groups, with the majority of our audience members being 18-34 year old young professionals living in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

  

Audience Reach

The Melbourne Fringe Festival audience continues to grow and diversify. Over a three year period from 2010 to 2012, our audiences have increased steadily by 35%. Participants have a history of attending Melbourne Fringe and are highly likely to attend in future years. In 2012, 32% of our audience attended the Festival for the first time, with 84% likely or very likely to attend in 2013.
