Fringe Friday Salon Sessions are a new initiative for Melbourne Fringe in 2009 and are an open discussion forum for all Festival artists to come and discuss the progress of their show.
Facilitated by Simone Collins, Artist Development Coordinator and a variety of industry guests, Friday Salons will be a space for ideas, feedback, collaboration, networking.
Initially, 10-15 places will be offered for each session and depending on popularity, this may be increased.
The Fringe Friday Salon Sessions dates are

• Friday 14th August 2009
• Friday 28th August 2009
• Friday 11th September 2009

Fringe Furniture - Registrations are open
Melbourne Fringe is calling all Australian based artists and designers, emerging and established, to submit new work for Fringe Furniture 2009.
The exhibition, part of 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival, is an annual ideas showcase that has grown over its 25-year history to claim a critical position in Melbourne’s design calendar. This year is set to be the most dazzling and comprehensive exhibition to date.
