We have a number of documents available to help make organising your event a bit easier. Check out the Resources section of this website to download all the relevant documents.

Every year, Melbourne Fringe publishes an information pack for registered artists. The FestPack is full of information, tips and advice on participating in the Festival. A hard copy is mailed to all registered participants with their registration proof and will be available on this website in July 2008.

As well as the FestPack we also publish a Marketing Handbook and a Publicity Handbook, which will be available from this website in July, 2008.

Ticketing & Box Office
From the launch of the Festival in early September, tickets go on sale using a centralised online and telephone ticketing system managed by Melbourne Fringe.

Web Presence
The Festival Program is available online from the launch with several user-friendly search functions and is visited by thousands of Fringe-goers each day. Tickets can be bought via the site.

Marketing & Publicity
Melbourne Fringe produces 70,000 copies of the Festival Guide, distributed throughout Melbourne, Victoria & interstate, as part of an extensive marketing and publicity campaign. Unmissable public presence in ensured via posters, banners, press, postcards, television, media packs, etc. within which you work with your own resources to stake as large a claim as possible.

Participating in Fringe Produced Events
Complementing the independent program each year, is a series of high profile Fringe Produced Events that reinforce Melbourne Fringe's belief that contemporary arts festivals have the power and the responsibility to give voice and engage with community concerns through innovation, energy and creativity. Fringe Produced Events are designed to bring together artists and the community, directly engaging audiences not only as observers but as participants and makers of art.
