Tour Ready
Aimed at equipping our emerging class of producers with the skills to create a sustainable career in Australian arts practice, Tour Ready assists selected participants to extend the life of their show beyond the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
In the lead-up to the Festival, Tour Ready offers a forum designed to prepare participants with the skills and practical strategies required to:
- Pitch their show
- Establish a realistic touring strategy
During the Festival, Tour Ready participants will have access to a series of professional networking events when Melbourne Fringe hosts a range of interstate and local programmers and presenters. These invited guests of the Festival will be in Melbourne specifically to:
- Offer professional advice
- Create future opportunities for program participants
This unique program offers emerging producers a chance to develop professional skills, increase future market opportunities and expand their networks outside the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Tour Ready participants apply as part of the Melbourne Fringe registration process from May 14- June 1.
