Start at dusk. When the light fades, what is revealed? A shape? A face? A body set free and brief thoughts strewn across the night?
Devised by two independent Melbourne dance-makers, dance+anecdote presents a series of short dance pieces in an immersive installation experience. The audience is invited to engage with sensuous live and video works housed within a vast, yet surprisingly personal and expressive space.
Intimate solos, group performances and projected works juxtapose in a journey of unique, intertwined moments.
Considered movement and irrational intuition collide in an abstract observation of the unquantifiable: the moment before logic arrives in the body.
