A digital art festival that links artists from all over the world through site-specific and web-based streaming of their digital art. Produced by Horse Bazaar for the Melbourne Fringe Festival, it will load up again in 2010 to stream out and shine across Melbourne, regional Victoria and the world through a large network of public and private screens! Digital Fringe recognizes the rapid growth of digital screen based technology in the arts. In keeping with the Fringe festival charter Digital Fringe is accessible to emerging and established artists, particularly those working in new media, and will provide access to hundreds of public screens and non-traditional audiences throughout the state (and the world) that will be seen by thousands of people over the course of the festival. All works are available to view via the Digital Fringe website.
