Kate McLennan is back with a very funny show about family, falling apart at the seams and learning to put one foot in front of the other.
Last year Kate broke up with her boyfriend and moved home to her Mum and Dad’s. Home may seem like the best place to go when you have a broken heart; except perhaps when you have a dad who talks about his prostate too much, a sister who is getting married and an aunty that thinks you should move on and ‘find someone with a ready made family. Like a lawyer with a dead wife.’
So Kate did what any broken hearted girl would do in that situation; she started running, had a wax and booked an airfare to New York. Okay... she didn’t start running.
