Max and Moritz is a horrific tale of trickery and intrigue, where, under the direction of puppeteer extraordinaire Megan Cameron – and with no small amount of on-stage shenanigans courtesy of the same, in cahoots with KT Prescott – marionette puppetry and human performance combine in a bawdy, dark romp steeped in vaudevillian theatrical tradition.
Max and Moritz is a deranged expanded marionette theatre production of Wilhelm Busch's 19th century tale of a couple of very naughty boys who just might get what's coming to them – and how! But not before certain entertaining unpleasantries must first come to pass...
With a live score from Dirty Nicola and the Spud Hussies, who will also play after the show on Fridays 30th sept and 7th oct.
