The surprisingly festive anniversary of Gareth's mother's death rarely fails to infuse life into an otherwise characterless mansion in South Dublin. Gareth's busy year has resulted in skyrocketing sales, acknowledged colourfully by his chirpy, cheeky companions. Yet, despite the veneer of wealth and success, the extent of his inner torment is teased out in humorous and heartrending fashion. In this gripping one-man play brought direct from Ireland, a cavalcade of characters are radiantly brought to life in a relentless series of monologues and flashbacks. Brian Loughnane's one man show has matured and evolved over it's stage life, and this year sees a new version presented in front of an Australian audience for the very first time.
