Vita, daughter of Norse deities Frigg and Woden, goes to earth to find the true meaning of her (immortal) life. She falls in love with an enticing human creation, the accordion.
Global infertility signals to Frigg that all is not well on earth; she realises that her wayward husband has been exploiting nature and encouraging mortals to do so. Frigg organises an apocalypse where humans shall be judged and nature set back in balance.
Vita's accordion comes to life, championing the cause of objects and inciting them to rebel. At the apocalypse the accordionists battle the opposing wills of Frigg and Woden, to restore nature yet keep man's ultimate creation, the accordion.
