Misfortune, adversity, calamity and pain are the trades of Suffer Inc.’s human misery factory.
The Misery Factory is a narrative/sketch comedy set in a facility that manufactures human anguish. Its machines pump out the tragic aspects of life on a grand scale, from death and disease, to the less lamentable but still bothersome, such as paper cuts and windburn.
An analogous satire on the attitudes of companies whose products cause suffering, This is Siberian Husky point a tar stained finger at mighty tobacco kings, industrial cosmetic queens and incorporated prince pushers of pokies.
With minimalistic stage presentation and tight character transitions, comedy duo This is Siberian Husky create a dystopian world where unhappiness has been commercialised.
