A Zirconia is a jewel whose outer beauty belies its inner worthlessness. It is, essentially, an object of deception.
People too can hide their true identities behind outward disguises of confidence, happiness and charm.
Emily Brown’s cabaret 'Zirconia' is an insight into the human need to hide one’s weaknesses and shortcomings.
Follow Madame Fifi, the sleazy middle-aged seductress, Dotty, the misunderstood romantic, Tessa, the charming, newly independent woman, and Rhonda, the eternal optimist, as they lament their tales of woe and search for their one true love.
This eccentric group of women will make you laugh and cringe at their delusional theories and unfortunate pasts.
