Protect Your Glory Box
Spread safe sex, not STIs, this Fringe.
Visit the Fringe Club
In 2010 Fringe favourites Dash and DBree went viral with the infectious Clap Rap, protecting their glory boxes hip hip styles. The Clap Rap gained national exposure on Channel 7 Australia's Got Talent in May, and the girls are back to do it all again in 2011. Hang out in the Fringe Club and you might be lucky enough to catch some guerrilla performances by Dash and DBree as they hand out free condoms and spread the good word on safe sex, STIs and protecting your glory box.
Stay in the know
Throughout the Festival we'll be giving you little titbits of sexual health info and tips through our Facebook, Twitter (#mfringe) and our e-newsletter The Fix. Stay in the know and you might just be rewarded with some goodies, including double passes to Melbourne Fringe shows and free Fringe Dweller memberships.
Ask Your Doctor
Make sure you ask for a routine sexual health check-up the next time you're at the doctors - many STIs don't have symptoms, so you could have been infected and not know it. And left untreated, they can have some nasty consequences.
Getting a regular test is so easy and convenient, and if you do have something, treatment is usually simple and painless. STI tests should be as routine as getting your blood pressure, cholesterol, and teeth checked.
