Buzzcuts

Presented by young writers, Buzzcuts will provide daily reviews and happenings during the 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Check out what the Buzzcuts team thought about all the sights, sounds, shows and events. Find out what Fringe means to Melbourne and it's young folk. Buzzcuts can be heard on 3RRR (102.7 FM), SYN FM (www.syn.org.au) (90.7 FM) and read every Wednesday in Beat magazine and on the Buzzcuts website during the festival. Keep coming back as more reviews come in daily.

Look out for the free Buzzcuts Zine at Fringe hubs and selected points around town during the festival. The Buzzcuts zinesters will creatively record all things fringe and they want your contributions too. For more information go to www.expressmedia.org.au or email zineeditor@buzzcuts.com.au

Buzzcuts and the Buzzcuts Zine is proudly brought to you by Express Media, a not-for-profit organisation working with and for young people at a national level.

Express Media provides a range of opportunities for young people under 25 to get involved in writing, publishing and media. Express Media publishes Voiceworks, a quarterly, nationally distributed magazine dedicated to publishing new fiction, poetry, journalism, artwork and opinions by young Australians. Express Media also runs an annual writing competition, The John Marsden Prize for Young Australian Writers, National Mentorship Program gives young writers the chance to work one on one with established professionals.

Express Media would like to thank Melbourne Fringe, 3RRR, RMIT, Beat, and SYN FM for their assistance in presenting this project. We would also like to thank our many volunteers, without whom this project would not be possible.
