Material World is an interactive installation set in St Paul's Court, Federation Square in the centre of Melbourne.

Material World - Workshops
28 September - 1 October, 1:30pm - 3:30pm.
ArtPlay at Birrurung Marr, Melbourne. As part of Material World, workshops for children are being held to create elements that will become part of the installation. Workshops are suitable for children aged 6 - 13 years.

Fringe Furniture
29 September - 15 October, 9am - 5pm.
Melbourne Museum, Carlton Gardens.
Contemporary furniture and interior design utilises a clever fusion of the past and reinvents elements to create the new. With an emerging trend against stark minimalism, exhibition participants showcase their own baroque ideals for the 2006 Fringe Furniture exhibition.
