Alfred Hitchcock – Film Director and Bernard Herrmann – Composer collaborated on some of the most popular and important films of the twentieth century including Psycho, Vertigo, North By Northwest and The Birds - nine films over a ten year period. Then, they suddenly and inexplicably parted company and never spoke to each other again.
Hitchcock & Herrmann explores the mystery and the comedy of the relationship between these two great men and speculates over the reasons for their estrangement. Recently nominated for a Matilda Award for Best Playwright, this is its Victorian Premiere.
