Something Drastic
...anarchic, comic, inventive, dramatic. The Bridget Jones phenomenon meets Theatre of the Absurd in this adaptation of Canadian playwright Colleen Curran's comedy. How partners, family and friends impact on us, and how we hope that the no good loser in our lives is Mr. Right. The play takes its two female characters on a journey of “who do we fall in love with and why” and explores how friendship is sometimes a good substitute for sex. The ensemble including Nik Wilmott, Justin Batchelor, Delene Butland, Joanne Davis, Alicia Benn, Matthew Mee and Frances Hutson take us on a wild journey. Director Rosemary Johns
