With 263 events you'd think no-one would have time to just hang out and meet people in the Melbourne Fringe Festival Club.

Of course, you'd be wrong. If there's one place that really encapsulates the spirit of The Age 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival, it's our Festival Club.

The Festival Club is the place where performers, organisers and audiences mingle in a swirling free-for-all of high-spirited celebration. It's the scene of late-night networking, random friend-finding, partying and hastily scribbled contracts.

If that's not enough, there's also 14 jam-packed nights of entertainment!

From the afro-Cuban sounds of LABJACD, the raw passionate soul power of The Sneaker Trio to the frenetic mixology of our DJ competition Fringe Spin, there's music for every taste.

Comedy and performance are never far from the Festival Club stage with two Sunday nights of Character Comedy, the insane and possibly dangerous League of Side-Show Superstars III (back again by popular acclaim), not to mention those comic superstars in their own right, Tripod.

And we've got Bingo, the legendary Fringe Trivia night, and our special tribute to the boulevard of broken dreams ... Lost Vegas.

Oh, and did we mention it's free?

The Festival Club is open nightly 6pm ‘til late 28 September to 13 October (closed Mondays).
