Getting Around

At Melbourne Fringe we’re big on public transport.
Not only is it much greener that taking your car you also get a free show as the people around you chat, laugh, cry, answer their phones and put on their make up.
Melbourne’s trams can take you into, out of and around the city and the number 57 goes right past the door of the Fringe Hub and Fringe Club at North Melbourne Town Hall.  And, on the morning of Wednesday 24 September, you might just see something a little unusual and a little Fringe on the tram.

But wait there’s more, if a tram doesn’t run near your home or work then a bus probably does.  Melbourne’s bus network is extensive and ever so user friendly.  Check out our beautiful bus themed Ticket & Info Centre at Federation Square to see what we mean.

Bus and tram information is listed next to the shows in this guide but more detailed information including maps, timetables and prices can be found at metlinkmelbourne.com.au

And if you’re coming from out of town and are looking for information on getting to Melbourne check out visitvictoria.com.au for a whole lot of useful information and links.
