TOTEM

Dolls With Souls

TOTEM Totem is a collection of dolls created by artists to reflect how they truly feel themselves to be. These dolls are more than just simple childrens toys, they are powerful symbols of who we think we are, the internal workings of the human mind given form and are honest, hearfelt expressions of self.

Melbourne Fringe and Federation Square have joined forces to profile the hottest emerging artists from around Australia. Curious Works, Omnific Assembly and Team Loko have been commissioned to develop works that fit perfectly into the superb dynamism of Melbourne’s most adventurous architectural icon, resulting in a series of imaginative and intriguing arts projects that will reinvent and inspire.
