Melbourne Town Hall's Grand Organ gets turned inside out and upside down for this one-off musical experience.

The Genie is Ollie McGill (organ), Ryan Monro (bass), Will Hull-Brown (drums). Perhaps better known as the rhythm section from the Cat Empire, The Genie bring their trip-fish-chip-hop-scotch-on-the-jazz/rocks stylings into the Melbourne Town Hall for a night of improvised steamfunk that they hope will fit somewhere between Sebastian Bach and Johann Sebastian Bach.

Chris Abrahams is a Grand Organ veteran having played two shows in the Melbourne Town Hall with iconic genre-busting improvisers, The Necks. He has also released five solo albums and will bring his unique oceanic meditations to the Town Hall for his organ solo debut.
