Destination Zimbabwe? is on at Fringe Festival as a sequel to DISCRIT ZIMBABWE which had a sold out season at La Mama. The play comes as violence escalates in Zimbabwe after the farcical March and June run off presidential elections.

For two Zimbabweans who have just graduated from an Australian university, waiting on a bridging visa for a permanent residency visa. This is a period of reckoning, they left Zimbabwe when things could not get any worse, but the situation has become incomprehensible, and now they face the prospect of going back there. Here we find them, in a student’s room, with the walls looking like closing in, as they contemplate their DESTINATION, ZIMBABWE?
