Associate Producer (Curated Program)
We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Associate Producer (Curated Program) to support the delivery of the 2026 Festival. This role supports our Curated Program, an eclectic mix of participatory works by leading local, national and international artists, alongside programs that champion sector development, experimentation and access. Production Manager Festival Hubs (two positions available)
Love the thrill of live performance? Get a kick out of turning ambitious ideas into real, working spaces? We’re looking for two sharp, resourceful Production Managers to help bring the 2026 Melbourne Fringe Festival to life.
These roles take the lead on the end-to-end production of our Festival Hubs at Trades Hall and Meat Market, homes for late nights, big swings and everything in between. You’ll lead production crews, manage resources and budgets, and play a key role in delivering a Festival that’s safe, responsive and ready for anything. This is a role for someone who thrives in the thick of it: calm under pressure, generous with knowledge, and across the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Working across our box office systems, you’ll assist with event builds in Red61 via Eventotron, support the import and proofing of Festival events, and help maintain the integrity of ticketing data as the program comes together. You’ll be a point of contact for artists and venues on ticketing matters, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring clear, timely communication across all stakeholders.
You’ll help manage discount codes and special offers, coordinate complimentary ticket allocations, and oversee show changes and cancellations in line with Live Performance Australia guidelines. During the Festival, you’ll also support and supervise casual box office staff, helping ensure customer enquiries, ticket requests and technical issues are logged and resolved efficiently.
