The Goblin Ball: The House of Sand and Sin
Night 1: Saturday 18th July 2026 / Night 2: Saturday 1st August 2026
The Goblin Ball: Melbourne's immersive fantasy masquerade where magic, mystery, and mischief collide.
Now in its 13th year, The Goblin Ball invites guests to step into the House of Sand and Sin, a living fantasy world of shifting alliances and unfolding secrets. Through immersive theatre, live cabaret and burlesque, interactive encounters, music, and dancing, guests become part of an evening where no two experiences are ever the same.
Whether you're following the mystery, trading trinkets with fellow guests, interacting with a cast of fantasy characters, or simply enjoying the spectacle, The Goblin Ball offers a unique blend of storytelling and celebration. Costumes are encouraged, with guests transforming the ballroom into a world of magic and mischief, culminating each night in the Best Dressed Parade and the crowning of The New Supreme.
Within the House of Sand and Sin, crime is currency and secrets are traded freely. Guided by chance encounters and your own curiosity, you'll discover a world where Gods, rogues, and kingpins pursue their own agendas. Participation is entirely at your own pace, from casual interaction and playful roleplay to simply enjoying the performances, atmosphere, and company of fellow guests.
Come alone or with friends. The story unfolds around you, and how deeply you step into it is entirely up to you.
