Mr. McClelland's Finishing School is Melbourne's longest-running indie-pop dance night and it returns for winter to its spiritual home – Fringe Common Rooms!

Join legendary Melbourne DJ Andrew McClelland and guests as they play nothing but bangers from 9pm on July 24 and August 28.

Our winter residency is designed to shake off the cold of the darker months and warm you with the hottest little dance floor in town.

Well... Mr. McClelland's Finishing School is a celebrated night of dancing to pop music. And that means all kinds of pop music.

From The Smiths to The Supremes, from Weezer to Whitney Houston, from Belle & Sebastian to The Beatles, from Pulp to Prince, from James Brown to Joy Division, from Rage Against the Machine to Run DMC, from The Spice Girls to The Smashing Pumpkins... It's all for dancing.

Featuring music you really like and music you had forgotten you really like and music you will soon really like. Nobody can go from Chuck Berry to Chappel Roan like Finishing School can.
