Reimagining Werribee city at night through the eyes of young people.

Nightwalks with Teenagers is a walking performance created with local youth who plan, design and lead a public walk through the city at night, exploring the urban landscape. Focused on the power of walking together, the performance invites teens and adults to have a unique social experience in a shared place and time, where people let loose and are more free to be themselves, and where silences are not awkward, but offer moments for contemplation.

Developed through workshops and rehearsals with the internationally renowned Mammalian Diving Reflex, each performance is co-created with local teens, drawing on their stories, talents, and personal perspectives.

Nightwalks with Teenagers has been developed and presented on the traditional lands of the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
