FRINGE REBOUND: Fresh(ish) Off the Boat

The zig-zag semi-autobiographical journey of a Chinese Chinese finding herself across different continents away from her home. This 40-minute stand-up comedy show is based on the performer's experience as an international student in the US and then many working abroad experiences and as a non-native English speaker trying to understand the different cultural norms and values between the world outside China and China. It is semi-autobiographical and self-exploring journey filled with jokes on family drama, romance and sex, language and culture explorations.
