Suite Pastiche - First Event

We’re getting together for Melbourne's first Suite Pastiche: a hi-fi dance party for the socially engaged and sonically curious. In a heritage-listed ballroom, through a beautiful four-point Klipschorn sound system, we’ll play a vinyl-only voyage of genres and styles. Expect to move your body and mind to jazz, reggae, Balearic, Latin, Afro, disco, electronic, and niches in between. Energy is essential for any good party, so there’ll be a grazing table for early arrivals, a bar, and a comfortable chill-out lounge. A few things to help make the evening as special as possible: • These parties are best experienced as collective journeys from beginning to end, so arrive early and stay late if you can. The trip will be worth it. • We like the dance floor to be a space to connect with music, your body, and the people around you, so please refrain from using your phone while you’re on it. • We want this to be the first party of many in this lovely space, so please respect the ballroom, equipment, and folks you're spending time with.
