Meat Market - Blackwood Box

About: The Blackwood Box is located in the main building of the Meat Market and accessed via the garden bar on Courtney Street, North Melbourne. 

Meat Market’s Blackwood Box is a brand new flexible black box theatre featuring a raked seating bank, and floor level tarkett stage perfect for dance and movement, theatre, or experimental works.

Access to this venue during Melbourne Fringe Festival will be via the garden bar on Courtney Street.

The venue is wheelchair accessible with a step-free entrance. The pathway to the venue is via the garden which has a loose gravel surface. Some flooring on the entrance to the venue crosses over bumpy cobblestones.

There is an accessible toilet available. Service animals are welcome inside the venue.

There’s limited on-street parking nearby, and no accessible parking near the venue.
