No refunds are possible after 13 June 2017. If the event is withdrawn from the Melbourne Fringe Festival prior to this date, 75% of the registration fee will be refunded. Participation in the 2017 Festival is subject to the terms outlined in the 2017 Festival Contract.
All registration fees are GST free.
A $4.40 booking fee will be applied to all bookings online or over the phone.
Exchanges and refunds
No refunds are available unless a performance is cancelled, re-scheduled or significantly re-located (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the re-scheduled or re-located event), and a refund is requested. Exchanges are only permitted to another performance of the same event. Any exchanges must be made at the original point of sale and will be subject to exchange fees.
Holders of valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets. This includes students and seniors (60+). You may be asked to show your valid concession card when purchasing or collecting your tickets or on entering the venue.
Come as a group and save on ticket prices. Some events will offer discounts for booking multiple tickets. The number in brackets next to ‘Group’ indicates how big your group needs to be in order to qualify for the group discount.
Children under 2 (Babes-in-arms)
Children under the age of two do not need a ticket. Please note this means children will need to sit on your lap as they will not have a seat. Please be mindful of the show’s content when taking along a small child.

Conditions of Entry
Upon entry to the venue ticket-holders agree to be photographed for promotional use of Melbourne Fringe. It is also a condition of entry to a performance that no recording or photographic devices are used. Including mobile phones, which must be switched off prior to the beginning of the performance. Your fellow audience members and performer will be delighted by your manners.
Ticket purchased online are melbournefringe.com.au will be issued as eTickets. This requires customers to have a valid email address. Please ensure you have checked your spam folder if you have not received the tickets to your inbox. If tickets are purchased during the festival at a Hub Venue then a standard ticket will be issued.
The performance will begin at the advertised time. Venues and Front of House staff reserve the right to admit latecomers only if there is a suitable moment in the performance. Management reserves the right to refuse admission; this policy is to prevent disruption to other patrons and the performance.
Melbourne Fringe reserves the right not to process a refund for lost tickets.

Melbourne Fringe and Live Performance Australia

Melbourne Fringe accepts Visa and Mastercard for online and phone sales ONLY.
Fringe Hub Box Offices accept Eftpost, Visa and Mastercard, and cash. These Box Offices are located at North Melbourne Town Hall and the Lithuanian Club (North Melbourne), and an additional Ticketing Booth Located in Fed Square (CBD).
eTickets (Print at Home Tickets)
eTickets can be printed or presented at the venue on a smart phone or tablet. Some venues may require tickets to be printed, please contact the venue to confirm. If printed, please ensure that the QR code is clear and able to be scanned.
Tickets may not, without prior written consent from Melbourne Fringe, be resold at a premium, offered as a prize or used for advertising or other promotional use.
Unless a performance is categorised as a children or family show content may not be suitable for all ages. For more information on show content please visit the specific performance’s page on our website or printed guide.
Under 18 policy
Please note, some venues may have liquor licensing in place that does not allow under 18s in past a certain time. If unsure, you are advised to contact the venue.
